Frequently asked questions
If you've come here, it means you still have a few things left unanwsered. We've listed down the most frequent things other users have wondered about before taking the jump to join us.
Why would I want to sell my products on Notive?
Selling your samples through labels isn't great. They don't pay you fairly and frankly, you have no idea how well your product sells - zero visibility. And unlike other more generic marketplaces, we have a highly targeted audience. We also advertise your products on social media to help you sell more and reach customers you otherwise wouldn't.
Your offering sounds too good to be true, is it?
Very much the opposite, actually. We built Notive to solve a very real problem - selling your sample packs, or "music production goods", as we like to call them, and skipping the middleman. You're your own boss, you set your prices and are in control of every aspect of the process.
How much does it cost to create an account on Notive?
Zero, zip, zilch, nada. It's totally free.
How much does it cost to list my products on Notive?
Also totally free. You only pay when your products sell. Simple.
How much does it cost to sell products on Notive?
We keep a measly 5% on each sale you make. That includes all and any payment processing fees. So you keep 95% on each sale.
How do I get paid?
During the process of setting up your shop, you will need to set up a Stripe account. Stripe is an industry leader payment provider trusted by many big companies like Kickstarter, Twitter, Shopify, Lyft and Slack. So you're in good hands. You get paid directly to your bank account through Stripe and we stay out of the way.
How often do I get paid?
Totally up to you. You can change your payout settings on Stripe and set it to be as frequent as you like. By default Stripe transfers money to your bank account daily, with a weeks delay. So today's earnings would be transferred to you a week from now.
